Weekly Wine Tasting September 18th-20th 2025
Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon are probably the best-known grape varietals in the USA, they are certainly the best-known grapes grown in Napa. So this week we will have 3 Chardonnay and 3 Cabernet open, none of which is from Napa. First up is a white Burgundy, followed by a 97-point beauty from the Santa Rita Hills, and we finish with the always intriguing El Enemigo. Our first red isa stunning value 94-point Cab from Hawkes Bay in New Zealand, we follow that with a Washington State Cab, and finish with a 91-point Sonoma bottling. Taste all 6 for $30, individual pours are $4-$8, taxes included. The Gare du Vin has had a White Rioja and the Clos Cibonne Rose added. The tasting bar will be open Thursday through Saturday from 3.30 to 7.30.
