Weekly Wine Tasting Oct 31st-Nov 2nd 2024
On the first weekend of November we will have 3 Whites from the Loire Valley, and 3 reds from the Rhone Valley open to taste. We will start with a Sauvignon Blanc/Chardonnay blend from Cheverny, then a dry Chenin Blanc from Vouvray and finish with a 92-point Sauvignon Blanc from Pouilly-Fumé. The first two reds are from the Southern Rhone, Valreas and Lirac, the last is a Northern Rhone Syrah from Jean-Louis Chave - just a Crozes Hermitage unfortunately! Taste all 6 for $25, individual pours are $4 or $5, taxes are included. The Wine Station has an excellent Saint Romain from Hubert Lignier and the 2020 Walt Anderson Valley Pinot Noir. The tasting bar will be open Thursday through Saturday from 3.30 to 7.30.
