Weekly Wine Tasting February 22nd-24th 2024

On the weekend of February 23rd we will have 6 California wines open to taste. Old school, new movers and shakers, and some very impressive wines. We start with a pair of long-standing Napa wineries'  Sauvignon Blancs - from Duckhorn and Grgich Hills, then a relatively new, 93-point  Santa Rita Hills Chardonnay. The first red is also from a relatively new winery in Santa Barbara County, then an old-school Zinfandel from Amador County and finishing with the 94-point Ramey Claret. Taste all 6 for $25, individual pours are $4-$7, taxes included. The Plum is to be decided upon, though there will be a Super Tuscan from Gaja appearing at some stage. The tasting bar will be open Thursday through Saturday from 3.30-7.30.
