For the weekend of December 13th we will have 6 lucky wines, that all arrived here recently, open to taste. We start with a Marmajuelo from Tenerife (so rare that even Derek has not tried the varietal) Then we have a very unusual Piemonte blend, and finish with Katie's favourite California Chardonnay. The reds start with a 92-point Cerasuolo di Vittoria, progress to a big, 92-point Gigondas and we finish up with a Sonoma Cabernet from the esteemed Whitehall Lane Winery. Taste all 6 for $25, individual pours are $4 and $5. The Wine Station has 2 new whites, the La Scolca Black label Pinot Grigio (beloved of someone in Duran Duran) and the Van Canneyt Blanchot Grand Cru Chablis (beloved of someone not in Duran Duran - me) The tasting bar will be open Thursday through Saturday from 3.30 to 7.30.
